You should be aware that our wedding falls during the first weekend of Mardi Gras, and there will be some logistical issues for you to keep in mind.

The first weekend of Mardi Gras is a much more "local" party than the weekend right before Mardi Gras and, of course, Mardi Gras day itself. The parades are smaller, and the crowds consist mainly of residents. It would be a great time to get the flavor of Mardi Gras parades should you like to attend one. We'll post more information here soon on what's happening that weekend.
